Work At Gold Mine To Be Resumed

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wailii, September 27.

A conference between the Martha Gold Mining Company and the Ohinemuri Mines and Batteries Union, held to-day, resulted in a satisfactory agreement being reached, and work as usual will be resumed at the mine and battery to-morrow. As a result of the trouble the mine and battery have been idle since Thursday, involving a loss to the workers of about £2OOO and also loss to the company.
