IMPROVEMENT OF HIGHWAYS

Lovin, September 14. At thio month's meeting of the Horowhenua County Council advice was received from the Public Works Department of its approval of plane for the reconstruction and scaling of the WaikanaeWaitneha highway. It was suggested that tenders be invited. A communication concerning the Wai-kanae-Reikorangi highway stated that the Main Highways Board had authorised tar priming and had agreed to subsidise 32 chains.
