WATERSIDERS STOP WORK
Napier Shipping Delayed Dominion Special Service. .Napier, September 14. Watersiders at jjapier stopped work for two and a half hours yesterday afternoon and again for a similar period this morning through, it is reported, a misunderstanding in connection with the interpretation of the existing agreement between the watersiders and the shipping companies.
The departure of the Essex was delayed, and the vessel left for Gisborne this afternoon.
