Frau Kessler, of the Morteratsch Inn. has died at Pontresina at the age of 76. She had many friends among British climbers’.' who well remember her courtesy and goodheartedness. When Frau Kessler took over the inn nearly a halfcentury ago, the Morteratsch glacier arrived close to her house and provided her with ice for cooling the excellent drinks she prepared.
