•SjTORM troopers distributed to Berlin housewives recently leaflets warning them not to throw into the dustbin scraps of food and refuse, but to deposit them in receptacles provided by the National-Socialist welfare organisation.
The leaflet says that similar directions given previously have been ignored, and adds that “anyone who throws away scraps which might help in feeding thousands of pigs damages the property of the people and is liable to punishment.”
