Heavy Passenger List

After a rough trip, the Union Company's liner Awatea arrived at Wellington "at midday yesterday from Sydney and berthed, at No. 1 south 'Queen’s Wharf. Maetsuycker Reports Johnston and Co., Ltd have received a wireless message from the South Pacific Line motor-ship Maetsuycker, en route from Saigon, via Singapore, Java and Port Sloresby, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at 7 a.m. to-day. She Is due at Wellington on Friday morning and will leave again the following day for Port Moresby, Java, Singapore and Saigon, via Sydney. CUMBERLAND LEAVES LIVERPOOL. Cabled advice lias been received that the Federal steamer Cumberland lett Liverpool last. .Saturday for Auckland, Xapmr,. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin aud Timaru. She is due at Auckland on October -1. WANGANELLA AT. AUCKLAND. From Melbourne and Sydney the Huddart, Parker motor-liuer Mauganella is due at Auckland this morning.
