Quantity of Furniture Damaged

A carelessly-thrown cigarette was the cause of a fire in a private garage used for the storage of furniture at 2i>6 Adelaide Road, Wellington, yesterday morning. Both the furniture, which was the yiroperty of Mr. Arthur de Lacey, and the garage, which is owned by Mrs. L. J. Oxley, were damaged.
