DEATH AT AGE OF 107

Mr. G. Anderson, Westland By Telegraph—Press Association. Hokitika, September 3. The death occurred this mornning in the Westland Hospital of Mr. George Anderson at: the age of 107. Born in Bugland, Mr. Anderson came to the Dominion in 18(>4. He showed wonderful vitality until the last, his hearing and sight being remarkably good. He celebrated his birthday a fortnight ago. Mr. Anderson followed mining pursuits in his earlier years.
