TEAM TO BE SENT TO AUSTRALIA By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, September 3. A decision to accept an invitation from Australia to send a team to the interState carnival to be held in Australia August was reached at a meeting of delegates to the New Zealand Basketball Association held to-night. Mrs. 11. D. Muir, president of the association, was appointed manager and coach, and Mrs. Bain Challis was made first-aid official to the team. It was also decided that Mrs, R. C. Mclnnes should accompany the team. The selectors will be Mrs. H. D. Muir, Miss M. E. Armstrong (Veilington), and Miss 11. A. McKenzie (Otago).
