Successful, both socially and financially, a bridge party in aid of the Hutt Valley Y.M.C'.'A. look place in the Horticultural Hall. Lower Hutt, on Friday afternoon. A delicious home-made afternoon tea was served. The committee wan: —Mesdames C. G. Hedge (convener), Bell, "Wilton, Kerslev, Collett, Parkin, Silvcrwood, Lewis, Andrews, and Miss Dick. The president. Mrs. King, was present.
