BRIDGE EVENING IN AID OF BROWNIES

A successful bridge and '‘soo” evening in aid of the First Lower Hutt Brownie Company was held in the Scout Hall uu Wednesday night. The tables were arranged by Mesdatnes Hayes, O’Shea, Davies, Butt, Foster, Martin. Butchers. Hardcastle, Vaughan and Milne. The following was the committee: Mesdames Power, Baker, Spiller, Clark, Lockwood, Carter, Dttdding, Cliristopber, Miller and Miss Thornton, brown owl, and Miss Gillespie. Miss Sealey, district commissioner, presented the following prizes: Bridge, Mrs. Hardcastle; highest number, Mr. Hayes; “500,” Mr. Harris 1, Mrs. Payne 2.
