NEW AERODROME AT MANGERE

Possibility Indicated By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, August 5. A survey which has been carried out by the Public Works Department iu the vicinity of the township and school, Mangere Central, indicates the possibility of a new military aerodrome for Auckland city. Residents on whose property a survey has been made have been notified that further investigation will be carried out in the near future. It is considered likely that an area of about 9C acres will be required. Mtmgere Central is beyond the range of attacking warships from either coast.
