TOTTEY TO JOIN RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM
(Received August 4, 7.30 p.nfi) Sydney, August 4. J. Tottey will now sail by the Aorangi on Thursday, all arrangements for his departure for New Zealand and England with the Australian Rugby League team having been made. The Board of Control will meet tomorrow night. It will radio permission to Tottey to join the Kangaroos. Tottey was originally chosen as a member of the team, but was kept out by injuries. On the trip across the Tasman his team-mates and the managers agreed to pay his fare so that he could accompany the team.
