SEQUEL TO ACCIDENT
Teacher Awarded Damages By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, August 4. Myrtle Victoria Cameron, school teacher, Christchurch, was awarded damages totalling £346 in the Supreme Court to-day for injuries received when she was knocked down by a motor-car. Defendant, a piano salesman, was Conrad Gustav Hamann. The jury deliberated for four and a half hours, finding that both parties to the accident were guilty of negligence, but that defendant had the last opportunity of avoiding the accident.
