BASKETBALL REFEREES
Three Wellington Girls Gain Honours in Examination Three Wellington girls who have gained honours in the theoretical examinations of the New Zealand Basketball Referees' Association were congratulated at the monthly meeting of the Wellington Basketball Referees' Association on .Monday night. .Mr. W. E. Howe presided. Full results of the examinations were received, tile honours passes being Miss J. .Mitcliell (S 6 Miss B. Stone (85) and Miss E. Ruddell (85). .Resignations from the association were received with regret from Misses Clarke and David. New members elected were Mrs. Granger and Misses M. Blake. II Jacobsen, M. Daniel and J. Grainger. It was decided to ask the executive of the Wellington Basketball Association to meet the referees- for a second time this season in a friendlj- match. Selectors appointed were .Messrs. Budden and Morris.
