CLIMBING MISHAP
Lord Tweedsmuir’s Narrow Escape Vancouver, July 29. A message from Fort Norman, in the north-western territory, states that the Governor-General of Canada, Lord Tweedsinuir, while returning from a sub-Arctie tour, narrowly eseaiied a fail down a mountain while climbing. A ledge gave way and lie clung to an overhanging branch till rescued. A guide and two members of the party were in peril on a ledge for two hours till tihey were rescued by Indians with ropes.
