Carlton Brewery, Ltd., has declared an interim dividend at the rate.'of 15 per cent. per annum for the half-year ended June 30. The distribution for the year ended December 31, 1936, was 12 per cent., compared with 10 per cent, for 1935, 9 per cent, for 1934, and 8 per cent, for the three preceding years. Buyers are more active. Prices firmer, especially for heavy weights, which are becoming short, Australian lambs sharing in improvement..
