I Waikato Dairy Farmers’ Bonuses i | STIMULUS TO BUSINESS EXPECTED Dominion Special Service. Auckland. July 29. A very large sum of money is being distributed by dairy companies of the Waikato during the next, few days in the form of deferred payment after realisations for the season have been made and the value of stocks in store on May 31 have been estimated. Some companies, including Morrinsville. have already distributed their winter bonuses, while others will either do so on Saturday or at: the annual meetings to be held during the next fortnight. The largest distribution will be made on Saturday, when the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, will pay out a sum aggregating £757,337. Other companies will distribute from £7OOO io £-10,000, ami, although full details are not available, it is estimated that about £1,000,000 will be paid out to suppliers of dairy factories in the Waikato. The distribution of this large sum should give great stimulus to business in Waikato centres, and an active period is anticipated by dealers and shopkeepers.
