Man Killed by Explosion of Detonators By Telegraph—Press Association. Whangarei, July 29. An inquest concerning the death of Harry Pirilii, farmer, Taktrhiwai, aged 30, who died following an explosion, concluded to-day. The evidence showed that a tin of detonators was placed near the back door of the place where Pirihi and another man were baching. Pirilii. with a lighted brand in his hand, left the kitchen to light, rubbish two chains away. Immediately he went out of the door there wer a tremendous explosion. It was considered that an ember from the brand dropped into the tin of detonators. The coroner, returned a verdict of accidental death.
