RIOTS IN BARBADOES
Much Property Damaged By Mobs (Received July 28, 7.5 p.m.) Bridgetown (Barbadoes), July 28. Three were killed and twenty injured in riots' by mobs protesting against the deportation of a Mr. Clement Payne after being acquitted of making a false immigration statement. The situation became tense and the Riot Act was read. Much property has been damaged and there is a likelihood of a call for a British man-o’-war.
