Songs Around Log Fire A jolly time was spent at the R.S.A. rooms,. Lower Hutt, on Saturday night, when the usual social evening took place. There was a good attendance and a log fire warmed the hall pleasantly. The following programme was enjoyed : —Vocal solos, Mrs. Noel Taylor and Mrs. F. Potter; vocal duet. Mrs. F. Potter and Miss Phyllis Grieg, Mr. R. Cowie, who was M.C.. conducted a community sing, with Mr. Mann at the piano. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. Brien, Mrs. Boyes, Mr. and Mrs. Mount, Mr. and Mrs. N. Taylor, Miss Grieg, Mr. and Mrs. F. Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Cowie, Mrs. and Miss Weston, Mrs. Henry. Mr. Venty, Mr. H. Tustin, Mr. Hutchins, Mr. and Mrs. J. Sutherland, Mr. Gray, Miss Benge, Mr. and Mrs. Sutton, Miss Clark, Miss Pinnoek, Mrs. Gerard. Mr. and Mrs. Reid, Miss Reid, Mr. Reid, Miss Lineker. Mr. and Mrs. Lineker, Miss Caley, Mrs. Stuart, Mrs. Bolt, Miss Lawson. Mrs. Caley, Mrs. Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. Clark, Miss Studholm, Mr. and Mrs. Stirling, Miss Cowie, Miss. Beatty, Miss Englert, Miss Charteris, Mr. and Mrs. Winnie. Mrs. Brace, Mr. Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. Bmbe, Mr. and Mrs. Pinnock. PERSONAL Mrs. Swan, sen.. Wanganui, is the gttes't of her granddaughter, Mrs, Ralph Barton, Lower Hutt.
