Mrs. Don Bassett, St. John’s Hill, Wanganui, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wright, Wellington. Mrs. Gordon and family, Marton, are spending a holiday at Worser Bay, ■Wellington. Mrs. F. Wentworth Slater, Wanganui, is spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs. C. Barnitt is a Waitara visitor to Wellington. Mrs, D. Anderson, Waitara, is paying a visit to Wellington. Mrs. Swan,' sen., Wanganui, is the guest of her granddaughter, Mrs. Ralph Barton, Lower Hutt. Mrs. Mander, Gisborne, is visiting Wellington, and is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. James Hutton and Miss Jean Hutton, Gisborne, are visiting Wellington. Returned to Wellington Mrs. L. V. Phillips, Belmont, who has been visiting Auckland, has returned to 'Wellington. On Holiday Mrs H. D. Knight, Levin, is the guest of her daughter, .Mrs. F. S. Varnham, New Plymouth. Miss Barbara Gibson, Levin, is also the guest of Mrs. Varnham. Mrs. A. G. Cartwright, Wellington; is spending a holiday at Inglewood with her sister, Mrs. T. B. Knofflock. Mrs. H. L. Outfield, Inglewood, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Stevens, Palmerston North. Miss Mary Syme, Solway College, Masterton, is spending the winter vacation with her mother, Mrs. Walter Syme, Hawera. Mrs. Sweetman, Paraparaumu, is staying with her sister, Mrs. A. W. White, Stratford. Mrs. A. R. Jenkins, Stratford, has left to spend a fortnight’s holiday at Napier, Hastings and 'Wellington. Miss Redward, Palmerston North, is visiting Waitara, and is the guest of Mrs. P. J. Allen. Mr. and Mrs. R. Jackson, of Wellington, are visiting Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boshier, Taihape, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. E. A. Williams, Wanganui East. Mrs. H. B. Williams, Hawke’s Bay, is a visitor to Christchurch. Mr. aui Mrs. C. Hobson, Porangahau, are visiting Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Irwin, are Wellington visitors to Wanganui. Miss Peggy Acton-Adams (Tipapa) and Miss Anne Fell (Wanganui) have left for the Hermitage, Mount Cook, for the winter sports tournament. Mrs. M. Nolan, Wellington, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. H. W. Dowling, Napier. '' " Returned Home Miss M. O’Donnell, Miss J. Traynor and Miss Mullay, who have been attending the New Education Fellowship Conference at Wellington, have returned to Hawera. Miss Muriel Smythe returned to Hawera from Wellington at the week-end. Mrs. W. P. McAnerin has returned to Hawera after paying a short visit toller daughter, Miss Ola McAnerin, Wellington. Mrs. V. Houbrooke has returned to Inglewood from a holiday spent at ■Wellington. Miss Cicely Greatbatch and Miss Rita Edgecombe have returned to New Plymouth from a visit to Wellington. Miss Nan Henderson has returned to New Plymouth from Wellington where she was .the guest of her sister, Mrs. A. J. Nimmo, Hataitai.
