HOMING PIGEONS

Final Show Held The Wellington Central Pigeon Club held its final weekly show on Wednesday night at the club rooms, Lambton Quay. The championship classes, cocks and Jjens, and champion of champions, was judged by Mr. J. Bruce. Messrs. Boyd and Son won Mr. S. Dickey’s cup for champion of champions, Mr. F. C. Ferris s cup lor most points during the 1937 season, and the special prize for most points for old cocks and special for most points, old hens. Messrs. Heyward and Hoare iron a snecial award for most points for voting cocks, aud Messrs. Perkins and O'Dea special for most points in young hens. The club congratulates the. winners and all who have helped to make the shows a success by their entries, also the Press for their help in publishing the results of all the shows during, the season. Results are as follows Championship class, cocks: Mr. I. L. Ferris’s No. 458-32, 1; Messrs. Boyd and Son’s No. 1017-32, 2; Messrs Boyd and Son’s No. 525-32, 3; Mr. F. C. Ferris s No. 519-35, 4; Mr. F. O. Kerris s No. 499-35, 1; Messrs. Perkins and O Dea s No. 289-32. 6. Championship class, _ hens : Messis. Boyd and Son’s No. 081-3-, i, \LssrsPerkins and O’Dea s No. ; 800-JO, Messrs. Perkins and ODeas 31-3-, 3Messrs. Boyd and bons o9S-Jto, 4, Messrs. Boyd and Son’s 326-05, o, Messrs. Perkins aud O’Dea’s 16<)-04, 6. The judge for both classes was Mr. J. Bruce.
