SIR J. 'BARRIE’S WILL
Nephew Enters Caveat (Received July 25, 7.30 p.m.) London, July 24. The “Daily Mail” understands that Mr. William 'Winter, the British chess champion and a nephew of Sir James Barrie, has entered a caveat under Barrie’s will through Canter, Hellyear and Co., solicitors. The will was executed four days before Barrie died and disposes of an estate of £250,000. Mr. 'Winter was among tlie beneficiaries. Lady Cynthia Asquith, for some time Barrie’s secretary, was bequeathed £30,000, besides participating in the residue of the estate.
