MONDAY’S WRESTLING

Spellman v. Chief Little Wolf Wellington wrestling patrons have not. seen a great deal of John Spellman, mainly because he has been engaged in other parts of the Dominion, but this skilful mat star will be seen in action again in the Town Hall ring on Monday night against Chief Little AA’olf. Spellman, who carries the nickname of “wrestling’s iron man.” has attained mastery over the sport under both professional nnd nmn-

tear rules. He figured prominently in American national championships for three suceesive years, and was then sent to the Olympic Games at Paris in 1924, when be won a light-heavy weight title. That Spellman, in addition to his knowledge of the scientific side of the sport is alive to the importance of preserving the spectacular element was revealed in his match here with “Lofty” Blomfield, and it. is likely to even more apparent when he meets the unorthodox Little AA’olf. The Indian, who came with a big reputation, needed only one match to show that he was everything (hat had boon claimed for him. The manner in which he brought the indian deadthloek into play and levelled the fulls against McCready will not soon be forgotten.
