Eleanor Powell, world champion woman tap-dancer, who by her work in "Broadway Melody of 1936,” assured herself of a high place among the screen’s dancing stars, makes her second film appearance in the sparkling musical romance. "Born to Dance,” now at the State Theatre. Petone. The production is tilled with lilting and original tunes and delightful new dances. The songs are the work of Cole Porter, whose talent was much in evidence in the film "Anything Goes.” Miss Powell is supported by most of the musical comedy stars of “Broadway Melody” and several new ones.
