THE GREAT PYRAMID

« British-Israel Lecture The message of the Great Pyramid to Britain in these last; days was the subject dealt with by Mr. V. R. Brown in a further British Israel lecture given in the Trades Hall, Vivian Street, Wellington, on Thursday under the auspices of Mr. W. E. Wilson, who presided. The lecture was illustrated by lantern slides. The speaker briefly reviewed a previous lecture on this subject and pointed out that the Hebrew word translated “Altar” which referred to the Pyramid was “ED” and meant a witness and not a place of secrisacrifico, and that the description in Isaiah coincided exactly in every way with that of the Great Pyramid. A plan of the interior passage system was shown and when measuring from the “scored line,” taking each inch to represent a year, such dates as the Exodus in 1486 8.C., the Birth and Crucifixion of Christ, and in modern times the exact date of the entry of Britain into the Great War and the hour and day of its conclusion were clearly shown. The message of the Pyramid was not one to FrancOj to Germany, or to any other nation, for these dates concerned only Israel and later Great Britain, and thus connected Great Britain with Israel of old. The Scriptures told us, said the speaker. that certain great events were to precede the second coming of the Messiah, and all these events were symbolised in the passage system of the Pyramid. There were to be nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom; famines and pestilences, before the coming of the Messiah. and current history showed that in the Great War there were 28 belligerent nations with total armies of more than 32 million, of whom approximately 13 million were killed. Post-war days brought famines in Central Europe, and the deaths from the influenza epidemic and its reeurrencies resulted in more deaths than were caused' by the Great War. Moreover, continued Mr. Brown, it was foretold that there should be earthquakes in divers places. Statistics showed that while there were in the 19 years preceding the war 10 major earthquakes resulting in a loss of life of 136,000 there were in the same period of time, post-war, 25 major earthquakes, with a total deathroll of more than 2,000,000. The identity and destiny of latter-day Israel was clearly shown in the Pyramid, added Mr. Brown, for, in addition to the events and dates of the Great War, details of the recent economic depression were depicted, verification of the facts of which has only very recently been completed. , In the King’s Chamber, where there was a change in the masonry from limestone to granite, indicating in symbol Divine protection and influence, was a large granite coffer.- Was it coincidence that the capacity *of this coffer was exactly four English quarters, or a chaldron—a measurement which was common to no nation but our British-Israel? The Pyramid contained most of the British measures and thus was forged another link between Israel and Britain. This open coffer also spoke of life and resurrection and in view of fulfilled prophecy showed that the time was fast approaching; which would herald in the King of Kings who was to take over the Throne of David, and rule over the House of Is-rael-Britain for ever.
