CONTRACT BRIDGE

Wellington Club’s Events The eleventh round of the Wellington Bridge Club’s individual ladder competition resulted in a win for Dr. and Mrs. Hutchison (North-South), and for Mrs. H. B. Hornibrook and Mrs. C. L. Petry (East-West). The twelfth round was won by Mrs. Ashton and Mr. Render (NorthSouth) and by Mr. and Mrs. J. G. McDermont (East-West). The leading players in the competition after this round are: Mr. H. Burns, 55, 58 per cent.; Dr. Hutchison, 55, 34 per cent.; Mrs. H. H. Young, 55, 22 per cent.; Mr. H. 11. Young, 55, 17 per cent. ; Mrs. F. Gill, 54, 92 per cent. The recreation evening was won by Mrs. Ashley Duncan and Mrs. G. F. Jackson (North-South) and by Dr. A. Park and Mr. Wilkinson (EastWest). :
