HUTT VALLEY BOXING

The boxing contest to be fought at the Palace Theatre, Petone, on Tuesday evening, between Jack Sharpe, Australia, and Clarrie Rayner, New Zealand, should attract attention. Since Sharpe’s arrival in New Zealand he has fought a draw with Jarvis and defeated Henry Dunn at the . Town Hall last week. At present he is right at the top of his form, and with an opponent of the capabilities of Rayner he will have to give of his best. There will be six amateur preliminaries, the best amateurs in Wellington and the Hutt Valley competing.
