Wellington Markets Quiet BROKEN HILL PPTY. FIRMER Little change was seen yesterday in the Wellington stock and share markets. Prices were generally steady at around late rates. Trading was inactive, dealings being confined to leading industrial anti trading issues. . There was a strong demand tor Government loans, which were fully firm, but supplies were well held, only one seller quoting. , , , . Banks remained dull on a slack demand. South British Insurance . were very firm at 97/3, sellers advancing to 9S Rr’eweries were quiet, with Dominions firmer at 45/3, sellers 46/-, and New Zealanils easier at 49/9, sellers 50/6. Following sales at S4/9 and 84/6, Broken Hill Proprietary advanced to 85/-. sellers 86/-.
