The Passing of the Horse (From “The Dominion,” July 25, 1912.) A sign of the times we live in was apparent yesterday afternoon when the postal authorities submitted tor sale by auction five horses, two vans, a lonj and a cart, and a lot of harness, etc. formerly the collection and mails in Wellington employed horses ten drivers and a number ot stable ’hands.
