STONE FRUITS

Spraying Necessary All stone fruit trees, such as peaches, apricots, plums, and nectarines, should bo thoroughly sprayed during July. Use a good bordeaux mixture, prepared at home, at winter strength. Next to this lime sulphur is an effective substitute. This spraying is meant to act as a preventive against fungus diseases. Leaf curl, shothole fungus, and brown rot are a few of them. All the shoots and twigs should be carefully moistened with the spray.
