j Method of Obtaining Credit Saying he was the son of Sir Apirana Ngata was part of the story told by Winiata Fraser, labourer, aged 23. when he was unable to produce a taxi fare of 8/6 for a ride from Petone to Wellington at 1 a.m. on July 8. Fraser was sentenced by Mr. W. F. Stilwell. S.M., in the Magistrate's Court. Wellington, yesterday, to 14 days’ imprisonment for obtaining credit by fraud. I Detective-Sergeant P. Doyle said accused was at present serving two months' imprisonment for obtaining money by representing that he was the son of Bishop Bennett. The sentences were made concurrent. \
