GUARDIANSHIP ACTION
Actor Freddie Bartholomew (Received July 19, 12.40 a.m.) Los Angeles; July 18. The court has declined to name his aunt. Myllicent Bartholomew, as the sole guardian of the boy actor, Freddie Bartholomew, desj>te the contention that it would simplify negotiations for a new 2500-dollar weekly contract for him. The bank remains the guardian of his estate and Aunt Myllicent the guardian of his person. Freddie was adopted by his aunt in April with the consent of his parents. He earps approximately £240 a week. Freddie, through his aunt, is now claiming 22,500 dollars from three law firms, alleging that' they conspired to defraud him in connection with his guardianship proceedings. The aunt charges her former attorneys with conspiring with the attorneys representing Freddie’s parents z to wrest the custody of him from her. She also alleges that the attorneys suggested that she sign papers surrendering the care of Freddie’s estate. ' ,
