Paeroa Bride and 'Groom From Auckland A wedding of considerable interest was celebrated recently at Abri, Kordofan Province, in the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, when Miss Lois E. Harries, and Mrs. Htrrries, of Auckland. ~ The little mud church, with its thatched roof, was decorated with palms and greenery. The service was conducted by the Rev. E. R. Harries, who, with Mrs. Harries, had travelled from Svria to be present at the ceremony. The bride was given away by Mr W L. Mills, field superintendent of the Sudan United Mission, and although so far from civilisation, she wore white bridal array which caused much wonder and interest among the Sudanese, whose black schoolboys formed a striking guard of honour The bridesmaid was Miss Leah Jenkins, of Tabanya, and the best man Mr. W.
