WORLD RECORD TIME IN 800-METRE RACE
(Received July 19, .12.30 a.m.) Dallas, July IS. Running in an 800-metre race at the Pan-American track and field games. John Woodruff put up the world record time of 1.47 4-5. The previous record of 1.49 7-10 was set by G. Cunningham last year.
