SURGICAL MIRACLE
Two Stitches in Heart London, July 15. A surgical miracle at St. James’s Hospital saved the life of a Londoner who was stabbed twice to the heart, according to the “Lancet.” The heart was steadied by hand, and the first wound, three-quarters of an Inch long, was stitched up. The heart was replaced in the cavity, but still bled, whereupon the second wound was discovered and similarly stitched.
