HARRIER TROPHY

For New Zealand-wide Competition A photograph appears in to-day’s “Dominion” of the trophy which was presented last year' by Messrs. Noil and Moore, of the Auckland and Wellington clubs respectively, for competition among the Presbyterian harrier clubs of New Zealand, The trophy is a striking piece of work, embodying the St. Andrew’s cross imposed upon a circle, and bearing the burning bush emblem of the Presbyterian Church. Mounted on the top ia the figure of a runner in action. The' trophy is unique in that it is the only one for which harriers travel out of their 1 respective .provinces, except for the New Zealand championships. The teams from the various centres will be travelling to Auckland this year, the contest being scheduled to take place next Saturday. (Picture on page 9.)
