Singer’s Complaints (From "Tho Dominion,’* May 11, 1912.) Major-General Sir Arthur Dorwnrd, who is returning to England from New Zealand, and who was interviewed at Sydney, declared that the Dominion had ceased to be a free country owing to the multiplicity of laws. He complains that the fishery business is being neglected, the bu.lk of tlie trout being diseased. He maintains that unless the disease is checked the Dominion will cease to be regarded as the happy hunting spot for English enthusiasts to make a holiday in. * ♦ • The King made a submarine trip, being ten minutes under water.
