Wellington city engineer, Mr. K. M. Luke, is to leave on a visit to Australia In the Awateg on Monday next. Mr. W. A. Sutherland, secretary of the Wellington Automobile Asociation, and formerly secretary of the Main Highways Board, is to pay a visit to Great Britain and America at the end of the year. Mr. Sutherland, who will leave for England direct in October, will go to Britain primarily to study the work of the Automobile Asociation, England, to which he will bo attached for a mouth. He will return by way of America to study conditions in that, country. This will be Mr. Sutherland’s first trip to England.
