McDonald, to represent Wellington against Canterbury at Athletic Park to-morrow in the first interprovincial Rugby match of the season : — Full-back: IV. Crisp (Eastbourne). 'Three-quarters: J. M. Watt, H. L. Baldwin (Wellington College Old Boys). L. 11. Edwards (Wellington). Five-eighths: C. M. Le Quesne, J. L. Griffiths (Poneke). Half-back: B. S. Sadler (Wellington College Old Boys). ' Forwards: Front row—C. M. Ongley (Poneke), A. Lambourn (Petone), F. C. Leahy (Marist Brothers Old Boys). Middle row: M. IV. Devine (Hutt), C. J. Pringle (Poneke), K. Guy (Athletic), F. H. F. Smith (Wellington). Baek row: G. R. Wales (Athletic). Emergencies: Backs, C. A. Hudson (Petone), R. Veitch (Wellington) ; forwards, E. J. Ropata (Marist Brothers Old Boys), E. Todd (St. Patrick’s Old Boys). 11. R. Pollock (Petone) and J. Wells (Athletic) were unavailable through injuries, anil J. Fleming (Eastbourne) through sickness. Griffiths will act as captain.
