May 12, 1937 (Coronation Day), notice is hereby given that the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic as from 9.30 a.m.: Lambton Quay, between Ballance Street and Molesworth Street; Molesworth Street, between Hill Street and Lambton Quay; Bunny Street, between Lambton Quay and Featherston Street; Bowen Street, between Lambton Quay and Museum Street; Sydney Street East. .The above streets will remain closed until after the completion of the ceremonial march past following the conclusion of the ceremony in Parliamentary Grounds. South-bound motor traffic from Hutt Road (including buses) may, if necessary, be diverted from Thorndon Quay via Davis Street and Waterloo Quay. Invitation holders attending the ceremony in the grounds of Parliamentary Buildings, if arriving by motor-car, must park their cars in Sydney Street YVest and Museum Street or as directed by Traffic Inspectors. From 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on the above date motor-bus services will leave aw followw: IDawtbourne and Titahi Bay buses from the west side of Thorndon Quay.
