HUTT VALLEY BASKETBALL
Plvying an entirely different game to ; that which they produced in the Cleo Cup matches the previous Saturday, Randwick Al turned the tables on Hutt Valley Old Girls in the A grade competition of the Hutt A’alley Basketball Association ou Saurday. They brought in the three passers in their goal third, and their combination was excellent. It was hard to recognise Randwiek as the same team | which went under to Hutt Valley Old Girls in the Cleo Cup. Convent Old Girls I were decidedly superior to the newlyI promoted Lever Bros, team, and experiI ence told all the way. Hutt Aotea were i given a splendid game by the promoted I Upper Hutt team, which had Aotea playi ers on their toes throughout. In the B grade. Lever Bros., winner of the C grade last season, played wonderful basketball to beat Randwick easily. Detailed results are: — A. grade: Randwiek Al 22, H.V.O.G. 11; Convent O.G. 17, Lever Bros. 2; Hutt Aolea 14, Upper Hutt 9; Randwiek A2, a bye. B grade: Lever Bros. 29, Randwiek B 8: C.O.G. 10. Upper Hutt 8; H.V.O.G. 13, Hutt Aotea 2; Trinity, a bye. C grade: AleKenzies 6, Bluebirds 4; Upper Hutt 1, Maeduffs 1; Technical O.G. 13, Convent .O.G. 9; Randwiek Cl 13, Randwiek C2 12.
