The sheep are of the most approved type, low set with splendid bodies, typical Romney heads and ample bone. They have made a great appeal to every judge who has inspected the Hock, their evenness of type being remarkable. A better woolled stud of Romneys would be hard to find, their covering showing breeding, quality, character and evenness. Bred on the soundest of country 1000 feet above sea level, these sheep show great constitution ; in fact, have a reputation second to none in this respect. They have been successful in the Manawatu, Feildrng and Royal Shows whenever shown and no one requiring high-class Romneys will be disappointed if they attend this sale.
