Sales and Exports for 1936-37 Season A GREAT CLEARANCE The final wool sale held during April resulted in nearly 100 per cent, clearance, 82,217 bales' being offered and 82.000 sold, a good ending to a wonderful season. According to returns compiled by Dalgety and Co., Ltd., the total offerings for the 10 months of the 1936-37 season ended April 30 were 686.150 bales, of which 681.248 bales, or 99.28 per cent., were sold, as against 784.585 bales offered and 752,254 bales, or 95.86 per cent., old, during the corresponding period of 193536. Details of offerings and sales for the 10 months of the two seasons compare as follows:—

Shipments of wool from New Zealand last month totalled 123,160 bales, of which 108,841 bales were greasy and 14.319 scored and slipe. Exports of woo] for the 10 mouths ended April 28 totalled 716,141 bales, as against 821,553 for the corresponding period of last season.
