RETIRED SCHOOLMASTER ACQUITTED

In the Supreme Court to-day John Reid, aged OS, retired schoolmaster, was found not guilty on three charges arising out of an alleged attempted indecent assault on a boy of lo years. The jurv. which deliberated for lour hours, added the following rider: It is the opinion of the jury that accused should be kept under strict supervision by his family.
