HEALTH INSURANCE
Legislation Certain Next Session MR. FRASER’S STATEMENT Dominion Special Service. Auckland, May 7. "There is no question whatever that national health insurance and pensions legislation will be brought down and completed next session,” said the Act-ing-Prime Minister, Hon. P. Fraser, in answer to a telephone inquiry regarding a -report that Parliament would probably be unable to; deal with the legislation this year owing to pressure of financial and other necessary business. "It is quite possible tiiat, as Parliament will be late in meeting this year and there is much ordinary work to be done, the session will have to be suspended just before the Christmas and New Year holidays and resumed in January or February,” Mr. Fraser added, “but it is quite certain that health insurance and pensions legislation will be put through before the session ends.”
