Executive.—Here the :> -tn-il operation of plans in the different fields, such as mines, textiles, and so on, is brought to reality. Finan-hi) - Financing of schemes, plants, and factories. Foreign Trade. —Export possibilities studied. Officials claim that the Plan should not mean economic isolation. Other Department. The other departments and their objects are:— Bureau for Distribution of Raw Materials.—This decides how the requirements of the manufacturers are to lie met. Distribution of Labour.—To ensure that skilled workers are provided j Food Supply.—To see that sudden i shortages of butter do not occur, that ; adequate supplies of wheat will he available, and in general to assure a steady food supply for Germany's 66.000,000 people. Foreign Currency.—To ensure that Germany drives profitable bargains with foreign countries. Office of the Price Commissioner.— To keep a constant watch on wholesalers and retailors to see that they do not exceed the official maximum prices which the Nazis have fixed, especially for certain foodstuffs.
