20 Years’ Efficiency Medal Presented Palmerston North. May 6. Marking the completion of 20 years’ efficient service in the St. John Ambulance, Mrs. Coles, Terrace End was presented with the efficient service medal at the fortnightly parade of the nursing division of the Palmerston North section of the organisation. In addition to her activities with the St. John Ambulance. Mrs. Coles was for a long period associated with the former district nursing committee, while she has interested herself in the boy scout movement for some years, being scoutmistress at Terrace End at the present time. The presentation was made by Mr. J. A. Nash, who was the chairman of the former district nursing committee, and he referred in high terms to the splendid work which had been rendered to the community by Mrs. Coles over a long period of years.
