Due Auckland To-morrow Night rhe Federal Company has received a wireless message from the M.-A.-N.Z Line steamer Canadian Conqueror, en route from Halifax, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland to-morrow night. She will later complete discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton aud Dunedin, and is now due here on May 14. RANGITANE SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangitane left Wellington at uoon yesterday for London, via the Panama Canal. PORT HUNTER LEAVES SUVA. Cabled advice has been received by the Port Line that the Port Hunter, en ’route from London, left Suva at 5 p.m. on Wednesday for Dunedin, Lyttelton an.l New Plymouth. She is due at Dunedin next Tuesday morning. > PORT BRISBANE SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading, the Port Line steamer Port Brisbane cleared Port Chalmers yesterday for Loudon. via Cape Horn and Montevideo. She took the following passengers- Mr. and Mrs. P. A. XV. Aish and two children, Mr. D. Darroch, Mr. A. E. Alexander. Dr. C. G. Rowatt is acting as ship’s surgeon. TAMAROA CLEARS BALBOA. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that its liner Tamaroa, en route from London to Auckland and Dunedin. cleared Balboa at midnight on Tuesday. She is due at Auckland on May 24. MAMARI AT LONDON. Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that the Mamari reached London on Tuesday. She left Wanganui on March 19 for London, via Cape Horn aud Montevideo. MATAROA'S ‘‘ALL WELL.” The Shaw, Savill Company has received a wireless message from its liner Mataroa reporting that she has been experiencing fine weather. All are well on board, and she called at Pitcairn Island on Wednesday. The Mataroa left Wellington on April 26 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal, Kingston, and Curacao. MILFORD SOUND LIGHT. The Marine Department advises that on or about May 14 a flashing white light, flash .ssec., will be established at St. Anne Point, at the entrance of Milford Sound. The latitude will be 44deg. 45min. ,ssec. south, and the longitude 167 deg. 47min. .1 sec. east. With an elevation of 87 feet and a white tower 21 feet in height, the light will be visible for 14 miles. The arc of. visibility is from J)7ldeg. through east, south and west to 31Gdeg. The light Is unwatched. GOLDEN WEST IN PORT. To continue discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo to the agency of Burns. Philp and Co., Ltd., tlie O. and O. Line steamer Golden West is due at Wellingtou this morning from Auckland, and will berth the the TaraETAOINUPSHRDLUPJUPJ at the Taranaki Street Wharf. She is expected to leave here again to-morrow for Melbourne. SURREY AT HALIFAX. The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the Surrey reached Halifax on Tuesday morning. She left Wellington on April 2 for Halifax, London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. PORT DUNEDIN DUE TO-DAY. To complete her Homeward loading the Port Line motor-ship Port Dunedin is due at XX’ellington about noon to-day from Napier and will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to clear this port finally next Tuesday for London, via Cape Horn. RUAHINE SAILS, Having completed her Homeward loading the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruablne left Wellington at 7 a.m. yesterday for Newcastle-on-Tyne, Hull and London, ria the Panama Canal and Plymouth. NORTHUMBERLAND AT LONDON. Cabled advice has been received by the Federal Company that the Northumberland reached London on Wednesday morning. She left Wellington on March 26 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool.' Manchester and Glasgow, via Montevideo and Dakar. TONGARIRO DUE TO-DAY. To continue discharge of her Liverpool cargo to the agency of the Federal Company the Tongarlro is due at Wellington this afternoon from Napier and will berth at the King’s Wharf. She is to leave here again on May 13 for Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete. AWATEA’S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company’s liner Awatea. from Wellington, is due at Sydney this morning. She is to leave there again at 5 p.m. today, for Auckland, where she is due next Monday morning. THE MAUI POMARE. The Government motor-ship Maul Pomare, from Apia and Niue Island, is dne at Lyttelton next Monday, and at Wellington the following day. She will leave here again ou May 18 for Apia and Niue. . MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Captain M. MacKenzie has resumed command of the Kekerangu, relieving Captain S. Hewitt, who has proceeded to Auckland for orders. Mr. B. F. Fisher has been appointed chief officer of the Matua, relieving Mr. E. M. Anderson for orders. Mr E. C. Champion and Mr. J. L. Hughes have joined the Waiyuna as second and third officers respectively, relieving Mr. R. H. Duffner and Mr. R. D. Scotchmen Mr. T. Stevenson Is now second officer of the Kekerannn. vice Mr. R. Ainsworth, who Ims transferred to the Kowhai as chief officer, relieving Mr. A. W. Babbitts for orders. Paptain R.
